Week 1-2: I Felt Like I was in Jail

First Week consisted of fire drills, learning how to march, foot drills, and of course... introduction to knocking it down... The jail feeling was still there and it remained there for the rest of the week... but that loss of appetite dissapeared. With all the hell PT that was given to us, we were too hungry to think about anything else when it came to meal times... the food just went in regardless of the taste.. the food wasnt too bad in my opinion... it was just the depressing thought that we couldnt book out on the friday of the first week inisde... and saturdays and sundays were also used for training ... which made the 2 weeks seem too long....

After the first weekend, we saw the other companies beside us book out on the friday, and witnessed their book in on the sunday...and there the depressing feel came back again... but it din seem so bad cuz it made the mark that we'd be booking out on the friday... area cleaning was a bitch... no matter how clean u made the area, there would definitley be somewhere u either forgot to clean, or somewhere you wouldn't think of cleaning... and for each mistake 5 pushups were done... mistakes included things like, bedsheets not being pulled properly, shoes not arranged neatley and the list goes on...

Not a single day went by where i could think of all my family and friends outside living their lives... while i was inside there not being able to do what i wanted. and that 2 weeks really passed like 2 months... and when I finally got to bookout, it felt so damn fucking good... we booked out early... around 1150 in the morning... I really must thank our seargent major Ivan Lim for booking the earliest ferry out for us... and when we first stepped into pasir ris bus interchange and smelled the fresh air for once.. omg... it never felt so good in my life before... and of course... i went to settle the dying urge to press the 16 buttons after i went home and settled everything...

The first bookout made it feel like everything had ended... but it was just the beginning...

Its not what you leave behind... Its what you'll gain in the days ahead...

The First Day

8 September 2011... the fateful day I enlisted... How did I feel ? Like shit... seriously like shit... and i cannot empahsise on this enough. My parents went with me to Pulau Tekong, Basic Military Training Centre for the so called ceremony... even that ferry ride felt like shit... and to make it worse, they played the Every Singaporean Son for everyone onboard the ferry to watch... Wayang luh.

Reached the island, surrendered the Pink IC, issued with the 11B and ezlink card and did the rehearsal to take the oath... the only part of the oath u remember is probably the last 3 words... WITH MY LIFE !!! After saying this it means ur willing to protect the country with ur life yeah ? Lunch with parents afterward... din have any appetite to eat anyway... but come to think of it the food was quite alright... it was really just the mood

Thereafter, collected the duffel bag and fieldpack, checked through the items...took about roughly and hour... but it felt like forever =( then took them and carried them all the way from the first floor to the fourth... Horrible thing to do... thank goodness i din have to do it again, and into my bunk... where i saw 15 other people...

Then came the haircut... the cheapest haircut in my life... 2 bux with also the shortest cut hair ever... and after the haircut everyone looked like little kids running around... because we all wore the same clothes and had the same hair and the seargents and officers were the only ones who wore different attire... and on a different note, we looked like prisoners =( espically when we took food for dinner.... we had to queue up, scan our 11B's and take food... sigh... and i had no appetite to eat... for the firs few days...

First Day ended with a teaching of how to do a water parade, with a small introduction on army things and a lecture from seargent major... not a very decent lecture tho haha...

Even thought i have passed out from my BMT in Hawk Company, I still remember what happened inisde... every moment of it.. good and bad... and i will continue in the next post because i really need to sleep right now

I dont feel like watching anime or play games right now , so I decided to blog. Yes this blog is damn fucking dusty, and the only thing that has been popping up are the movies that i've watched lateley.

Let me start of first by clearing up 2011. I graduated from my course in NYP. Worked part time at Comfort and hiSoft singapore, and the enlisted into the army on 08 Sept 2011. Yes that day was fateful. I still remember how i felt on the day itself... felt like shit. No appetite to eat at all throughout the whole firs 2-3 days. 17 weeks spent in pulau tekong with my bunk mates....and they made life alot easier for me in there... with them around i was able to clear my 17 weeks... i cant imagine doing it alone.

Then came 2012... 1 week of grad parade rehearsals and then we passed out... from recruits to privates. Yes im still a private now. Had a week of block leave, and on friday, I recieved this

3. Your are to report to Kranji Camp, Blk 920, #02-09.

So i was a storeman or so i thought... Kranji Camp is an Armor camp. I was posted to the armor division to be a storeman. But they din require too many storemans, and they converted some of us to clerks... yes so simply put, im a clerk now. Im really shag so im gona stop here... and revive the rest of my memories on BMT here another day... before while they're still fresh on my mind

IPP Week 7

I know the title is lame.... i cant find anything else to name it as so i shall jus name it as IPP week 7.

After what happened last week i guess lotsa stuff have been growing through my mind... and i think i shouldnt have been so direct... Hmm i know we din really speak much but... i guess time will help to recover whats lost and help me get it back in the end ?

Its been 3 months since it happened and its still troubling me... my mind tells me to give up... but my heart refuses to... I guess you were right Eileen, god was really fair... I lost one and gained another one... but kept all of my old ones except one that left.

Anyways... I watched Season of the Witch last Friday... its not bad but for 8 bucks i think its not worth it.

Lotsa ppl are all having attachment now... and since i kinda have nothing to do, I shall use this last hour of my working time today to update this blog.

What I did so far this year ? Hmm i got myself a twitter account, and started mind fucking ppl on facebook =D

Now why mind fuck ? Let me explain the term to those who duno wad is it. To mind fuck a person, means to fuck him in the mind... meaning to make him keep thinking about something, and whether he was the one who did it. The best thing about mind fucking is that the person who is mind fucked wun dare to ask whether he was the one who did the deed, cuz by asking it shows u feel u are guilty about doing it. Especially in situations where you think theres nothing wrong with the way you do and what you do =D

So far I've mind fucked 2 people... One doesnt know he as been mind fucked, cuz his skin is too thick, and it cant allow the mindfucking to get into his brain... well this one i dun need to care cuz he is a useless fucking bastard anyway.

The second person i mindfucked... well i would say his skin wouldnt be so think, but he is a fucking ungrateful, insincere, and unappreciative bastard who doesnt know the basis of friendship. I dont want to elaborate further, cuz its wasting my time and the blog post would become really draggy, but honestly, if you got your priorites right you wouldnt be feeling the way you did or suspect anything cuz of what I said yesterday.

You two probably dun read my blog(maybe the first one does) but i dont care because this stuff i said isnt meant for you to read anyway. My mood actually got better last friday when the computer came in, but after yesterday, well... i would say my mood went back to its pissed off state... Im starting to lose faith in all this friendship shit cuz no one appreciates what the hell Im doing.

A short summary of what happened these 2 months ?

I had a great time in Beijing with all the 33 other students who went there with me and the 2 lecturers.

My FYP ended being better than I expected, considering i din do anything in Beijing.

My attachment with NCS has started, and Im dispatched to URA alone to fix the EHT's there.

Im still brooding over what happened in the past to date... I still cant forget abt it as it seems

I quit gambling. Haven bought toto 4d soccer for 2 months alr.

Watched 2 movies: Rapunzel with Steven and My Soul to Take with School friends.

Exams are over... though I screwed up most of my papers... ISec management was the worse... Why ? Because I had a fever on that day and couldnt study properly... Well I'll get to that later...

Alrighty... every1s happy cuz they have 1 final week of holidays to enjoy ? HAHAHAHAHAHA... Well I dont =D Thanks to Kang Kang who passed me his bloody stupid fucking chickenpox virus. Now I have to stay at home and rest to recover... Well... this chickenpox caused quite a trouble for my final paper cuz i couldnt study... So if i fail its your fault hor kang kang... My extra sems school fees u pay ar ? Cuz ur the 1 who passed me this virus... That day tell u dun come so near me... dun follow me... then u still follow and whack me with ur hand... See la ! Dun follow instructions then now u cause this kinda thing to happen. Well... people just become more and more stupid and idiotic after mixing with certain ppl... Sigh...

Nevermind Im here to update now. Its now the study week and things have been going well and not well these days... Well as in well enough for me to spend my study week in peace and not well in the sense that errr... some of u guys know what Ive been losing ba...

Some days im just so bored to death at home... I just wish there is something I can do... besides studying that is.

To my special some1 out there... whether you are reading this anot, I dun care but Im gona write it here:

Alrighty... updates...

Its been a long while since i updated... Mayb around 6 weeks ?

Life in school has been kinda busy, with club and school activities. Life as a Year 3 student isnt as simple as what ppl say... Timetable slack... yes la timetable slack but life with projects and tests totally not slack at all luh...

I finally am finished with my year 3 project... presented and all... but im worried im gona fail... its not likely i will fail but im jus worried... after all if i were to fail there would be signs.

Im having my study break now... and my first paper is on 31st august... so tts gives me ard 3 more weeks to study... but i guess im not gg to start so soon

My HP com broke down again... i sent it for servicing... hopefully this shit wont happen again...

Im finding ways to get money for my china trip and japan trip...

Hopefully everything will go well =D
